My Rating System

I consider all of the different forms of entertainment unique, as they provide disparate outlets to each individual. As a result, though it may be confusing at first, I rate all of these different genres of entertainment in different ways. Below I list all of the varieties of entertainment that I cover and my code of review for each.

Music
I rate all albums and songs on a Five-Star scale with * being the worst and ***** being the best.

Movies
I rate movies similarly to music, but I carry on the tradition of many of the great movie reviewers of the past and present and review films on a Four Star scale with * being the lowest and **** being the highest.

Video Games
Video games are, in my opinion, the most complex form of entertainment that society has to offer at this time, so my review system allows me to nitpick down to the very detail. I follow the Game Informer style of reviewing games from a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

Wrestling Matches
Wrestling matches are unique in that they are a performance that opens the door for bad performances as well as good performances. As such, I follow the Jim Cornette rule of reviewing matches that Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has adopted to great fame (and, at times, infamy). Matches are rated on a scale of -***** to *****. Matches that receive a rating of zero stars are recorded simply as DUDs.
